The magazine also hosts two highly successful events. The annual Contract Catering Awards have been running for well over a decade, lauding the stars of the sector – from the Rising Star to the Lifetime Achievement Award winner. The shortlist – and subsequent victors – are chosen after much deliberation by a panel of industry experts from the worlds of catering, hospitality and foodservice.
The StrEATfood Awards, meanwhile, are an annual cookery competition, where the finest chefs from across contract catering enter their signature street food dishes. They then gather for a culinary cook-off where they compete for the coveted title of Street Food Dish of the Year in front of a panel of expert judges. Two other highly sought after prizes – Street Food Chef of the Year and Meat-Free Dish of the Year – are also up for grabs.
